With disc golf popularity rising, the City of Pawtucket took the initiative to include a course in historic Slater Park. Gardner + Gerrish worked with the City to design a course that makes use of some under developed existing trail network. We routed an 18 hole course with two sets of tees and two sets of baskets providing four different courses. Much like golf, the shortest course is appropriate for beginners, while the longest course will be the longest in New England and is proposed for use for tournaments as a professional disc tour course.
