Wear areas on soccer pitches are notorious around the goal area where as the remainder of other areas of the fields receive wear in a more uniform overall manner. With this in mind, Tim designed a square field with dimensions allowing for two fields to be utilized parallel to each other and then be rotated ninety degrees. This allows for the worn turf to re-generate and the soil to be de-compacted quicker. The existing soil was leveled, eliminating low areas and pitching with the existing terrain.

Reliable watering is essential for any athletic field on highly maintained turf. Tim, working with the regional Hunter Irrigation representative, designed a modified field system. This includes a new street connection, cabinet, pole mounted controller, and rain sensor.
