Site exploration is key to acknowledging variations in site conditions. We strive to communicate our understanding of each site and the resulting design solutions through hand drawn plans, site sections and sketching of initial schematics. We believe this process of putting pen to paper enhances our spatial understanding and promotes fluidity of the design process.
In addition, we are well-versed in existing computer based design, analysis and communication tools. From conceptual images to three-dimensional models, we use the computer as a tool to help clients understand spatial qualities, grade changes and proposed views. File sharing capabilities with our clients and other team members including architects, engineers and environmental specialists allows for greater communication, enhanced productivity and ensures reliable information storage, retrieval and publication.
